Email All Your Patients

This guide will walk you through how to compile all your patients' email addresses from Semble and then use a third-party email platform for your newsletter or to send bulk messages.


 With Semble, you can compile all of your patients' emails from the Reporting page.

Note: To use the Reporting page, you must have a role assigned to you that gives you permissions for Data. For more information on roles, see here.

Email All Your Patients

Currently, you cannot send mass emails directly from Semble. However, you can gather the email addresses of all your patients by following the steps below.

To gather the email addresses of all your patients, you must create a Patient report from the Reporting page:

1. Go to the 'Data' tab


2. Click on "Reporting".


3. Under Practice productivity select the 'Patients' button.


4. Click 'Custom range' and input your chosen time period.

Note: If you would like all your patient, you can go as far as you'd like. If you would like only certain patient, use the relevant filters. 


5. Then click 'Apply filters' in the bottom left corner of the page.


6. Then download the report by selecting either 'CSV' or 'XLSX' on the top right of the data report preview.

The maximum number of rows allowed in an XLSX document is 30,000.

If your report exceeds this limit (e.g., more than 30,000 patients), you will need to either create a CSV file or split your report into smaller date ranges.

 

Once you have the list of emails, you can use your preferred email provider to send the message to all patients.

Clicks: Data > Reporting > Patients > Filter date > Apply filters > CSV or XLSX
